We are hiring for a Publishing & Marketing company based in New York City with a 20+ year history and 5 years they have started operations in Mumbai & has an immediate opening for Software developer/Website developer
Qualification:
B-Tech/BE (Computer Science)
Job Responsibilities
l Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
l Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
l Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
l Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
l Recommend and execute improvements
l Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
l Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
l Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
l Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
l Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
l Be responsibile for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
l Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
l Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Experience Required
l Proven experience as a Software Developer,web programming or similar role.
l 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing software applications
l Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
l Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
l Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
l Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
l Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
l Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
l A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
l Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
l Ability to learn new languages and technologies
l Excellent communication skills
l Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
l Attention to detail
